52ft Cat Mast Rigging and Sails - Where Would I Find ?
Hey I am looking at a boat that has basically been gutted. The two engines are in working order but all the sailing equipment is not there. Where would I find a mast and proper equipment for this boat?

First you should narrow it down to what place one the planet the boat is. However there is a 70' cat mast in the SF bay area and a big racing mast somewhere. Try Lat 38 for the first and Sailing Anarchy for the 2nd.

I'm not sure which mast is in Southern California. I will be calling the fellow advertising the 74 foot mast on Latitude 38 to see if that mast is suitable to my needs.

That mast has a 415 area code which is San Francisco. There is a company in LA that makes masts and says they have used ones. I can't find it but I'll bet the members can. Can we assume the boat is in SoCal? Maybe Mexico?

This company in LA used to advertise used masts but I don't see that anymore.

Hey SVQ do you have an old mast or current mast? Maybe we can work something out. I am in desperate need of a mast as I have no sailing equipment on this boat and would like to get it finished. Maybe PM me your number I would like to see your boat if you are in the San Diego area.

No old mast or equipment, we're building new.
We're also in Eastern Canada, but would transport a mast if it were in good condition.

There is a 65' mast in Connecticut if you are interested. It looks to be in great shape.
