Lightwave 38 as a production boat.

Most of Jeff Schionning and Craig Schionning ( they are two seoperate designers) designs in the 11meter range. Similarly for Bob Oram, Peter Snell Mike waller - etc etc.

PDQ built a fine 36 with galley down, they are very good boats and are available ready to go. I know many people who have cruised the islands in the 36 PDQ

Older Prout 38's (South African built) and the 39' Prout Escale (virtually the same hull) are both galley down and still nice and open to the main saloon.

thanks all - very helpful.
38 just seems like a neat number - no fixed limit.
