38' Cross Trimaran

There isa 38' Trimaran in my marina. It's looking for a good home.
Barry is the owner, and he has given up on it (& life). He wants something out of it. I was thinking about it for my stepson, but he has since decided to go into the military. The marina is owed about $3,000 that has to be paid before it leaves. It can also stay there, where shop space is available to work on it. I was talking $5,000 USD ($2,500
to both owner & marina when I was interested in it). Inboard diesel is siezed. They ran an outboard on it at the end. I'd stay with that and replace the inboard with a gen set/fridge compress/watermaker. There is a deep freez under the aft bunk.
Lots of baged sails inside, the ones on the mast are suspect ? ? ? Mast are wood but looked in good shape. The boat is very well made, and basicly needs outside cosmetic work.

I have no dog in this hunt, just don't want to see a nice boat go down hill.

Norman Cross 38' trimarans are well designed boats - much more live aboard in terms of space than the Jim Brown 37' Sea Runners.
The asking price deserves an inspection - take a rubber hammer to all the decks - sounding for dull 'thuds'.

Interested but a couple thousand miles away. Did you take the pics or did someone else? I'd love to see more pictures, do you think the marina will shoot some more?

I took them. That pretty much covers it tho. The marina is kind of out of it. They don't want to be the bad guy and take the title, so they are letting me post it. The owner doesn't realy care about the boat any more. For that price it's a steal tho.
