I have a 1984 O'Day 26 which I sail in the San Diego are. I keep her at a slip in Mission Bay.

We (my wife and I) have a Hartley Tahitian 46.25ft/14M FerroCement Ketch. Heavey but powerful. Solid under foot. At 26T, she doesn't move around under you. Your own weight is insignificant.
Just fitting her out for sailing now. New Genoa & Furler. New winches, block, Halyards and sheets. She has a big 6cyl Perkins 120HP engine and BG Velvet drive gear box. Sleeps nine, with aft cabin/ensuit. Double forward berth, Double Mid berth, single Mid berth and two births in the Pilot house. In between thew Miud Berths and forward birth, is the Main Electric Head and shower. Well fitted out Galley in a U shape, so as you feel enclosed and don't get thrown about.
On the "to buy" list is a Genset, Inverter, Autopilot.
Only minor draw back with her at present, is the only helm station is in the Pilot house. So eventually we will fit an outside helm so as we can enjoy the lovely NZ weather while sailing.
We are spending the next 3 years learniong as much as we can about coastal sailing and then maybe we might go further afield.

boat weighs 23k- most of hull is 10g increasing to .5 inch for keel shoe. Deck/cabin use 11g
Stove oven is made by "gas systems"- no model number obvious- 3 burners with full oven, all stainless

Ours is a Beneteau 461. Bought it new in 1999. Sails like a dream. Also have a McGregor 26 for playing out on the lakes & bays.

not on digital that i could post. only on old fashioned paper. could give a link to a sister ship. need to get my daughter to take some shots of of her namesake on the digi that i got her for her b'day, cinco d'mayo.
crealock used the canoe stern on the 34 and 37. takes some room from boat, but i like the look.

We have a Macgregor 26X, powersailer. My husband likes to say it sails great for a powerboat and powers great for a sailboat.

My Boat
I have a Morgan designed 1977 CCA/IOR Yawl. She is a Starratt & Jenks 45, full keel, and has the Perkins 4-108 50hp, 2:90 transmission turning an 18X14 3 blade prop. She is a center cockpit, with Captains Quarters aft, V-berths forward with the head/shower and can sleep 6 below while 2 are on watch.
