Oh wait... I just invented the catamaran...
If I did not want to sail to my destinations in a real sailboat I would be driving or buying airplane tickets there.

Oh, wait, did we just open an old can of worms here?

Re: Yacht type choice - Cultural differences?

How interesting...
A discussion about what is on the inside of boats has devolved into a discussion about what is on the outside of women.
I am beginning to feel just a tad embarrassed about my association here.

Maybe you're taking it a bit too seriously?
Or maybe I have a weird sense of humor.

I was just on a Breehorn 44. Beautiful boat, in my opinion. And one I'd be happy on at sea / ocean - rounded corners, grips everywhere. Not too dark, but not too "modern" either.

Very solid boat too, and they don't sail too poorly either

Oh, if I was a rich girl ...

Never have seen one of these. Looks great.
I really like the flush deck forward with doghouse and hard dodger.
Cool boat.

Dutch design (she said not without pride)

Very seaworthy; if you're cruising around you'll probably come across one or two, methinks.
Friends of mine are currently somewhere out there on their Breehorn 37.

Re: Yacht type choice - Cultural differences?

Is this interior worth $260,000 more than

this?

Both are from 2016 model boats, both are 46 ft.

Even if they were the same price I would choose the one on the bottom.

Yes they were once great boats and I guess they are still made even if in very few numbers but the designs are very old (for Europe) and only the 41 and 48 are more recent ones even if not really a contemporary design.

They modernized the interiors dough, at least on the newer designs even if they don't have a great design. Probably designed "at home" and not by a specialized top interior design cabinet as most are today.
On the 44 the interior design is still quite outdated:

the new interiors:

Among the other Dutch brands that only barely survive (it they are still alive) you have Victoire yachts, also a very conservative brand that has made a last effort to survive maintaining an old hull, calling it classic and having a good interior design cabinet drawing for them a beautiful modern interior.

Ahhhhhhhhh! Sofia!

They said "See Naples and die", and I sure did.

{Most don't know where that expression comes from - The 2nd Punic War, which was the biggest war in history until WW1, and Hannibal made the big mistake of over wintering his army at Naples, and they were never the same army after. Rome gave a special award to the women of Naples, for what they did to Hannibal's army}

I guess that most would agree with you and that's why IP is in trouble.

Hmmm...
Never thought about it but Mambo lessons are feeling like a good idea!
Especially if I can take them in Naples.

I'd take the bottom even if it was 260k more expensive....

The IP's interior is neither modern nor an old pharts gentleman's club
