Wood Protection

I have a steel boat and want to know if there is a special varnish to use for the wood on the deck? And to take care of a fiew rust spots what is the best anti corrosion to use?

Well, I'd get the wood off the deck, if it's smack against the steel. Wood plus steel plus moisture equals problems. Replace the wood with painted decoration and you'll save much future toil.

And for those few spots of rust, remove all traces and apply an epoxy primer. Or an easier way is to paint POR15 directly on the rust - but beware, this latter suggestion will surely be contested.

Best solution for rust spots is elbow grease. Works every time.
