Very simple! Add another 20% on to you bottom line, put it on the market and if you get that inflated price....it was meant to be. Then watch as the prices tumble in the aproaching deep recession and build even a better boat.

Again, thank you for the thoughts. Gord, when I was talking about numbers I was speaking about having a mortgage or not. I was talking about where our money would be better placecd in the markets we are in. Yes, we are in the process of getting prepared. If the boat were here, we could be ready to set off once we select the Capt. that fits our situation best. That would not stop us from trying to sell her but I know it would take some time to have the replacement boat here and ready to go.

Again, thank you all. I really feeling like something would have to change in a MAJOR way for us to decide to sell her. Having not been attacked and called a fool for not cashing in is not surprising. It seems to me that most who sail do so because it's a passion and also have an emotional attachment to their boat (both good and bad) that comes with time. I already have it and have not seen her outside the mold in person yet.
