Re: What yacht is this?
has appearance of island trader but isnt --bows are different. is not a formosa nor ct nor sea wolf...bows not clipper enough.
interior looks like mariner/island trader and transworld 37s. coachhouse looks like transworld and island trader.
if you knew the hull numbers the manufacturer would be known.

Re: What yacht is this?
Looks like a Far East-built boat to me.
What is funny-and, to me, sad-is the ad. In the typical modern-day fashion, it leads off telling one everything there is to tell about the engine, through refrigeration, and concluding with the electric windlass
Not a single word..about the SAILS!

Re: What yacht is this?
Thank you to you both! I thought it looked similar to a Mariner so a Far East yacht makes sense.
I noticed the lack of info on the sails too.

Re: What yacht is this?
Ohhh we might have a winner. Photos of the inside of the fuji 35s are nearly identical to this boat. Too bad though, I don't like what I read about fuji 35s. Ah well....

Re: What yacht is this?
I think it's an Island Trader, but the seller provides his name and phone number--have you tried that? Please call Tom at the number above or Randy at seven two seven,. 301 4871 for an appointment to see this beautiful boat

Re: What yacht is this?
I googled "Cruising Yachts International" and got an old ad on sailboatlistings for a model called the Slocum. Searched for that model on sailboatdata and found it. Built by Crusing Yachts International, which seems to be a subsidiary of Formosa.

There is no USCG listing for "Cruising Yachts International"

Re: What yacht is this?
Love the boat. It is solid, stable , easy to single hand, not fast but reliable. Dry; the flatted bow keeps the spray away, great cockpit with lots of room for guests In strong winds I drop the main and sail with gib and mizzen.
See photo of mine under full sail

Re: What yacht is this?
Lived aboard a new Fuji 35 with my entire family in the seventies. The only difference I can note is we had a captains wheel aft at the lazarette instead. All else identical.
If not a close copy of the same hull and interior.

Re: What yacht is this?
Not a Fuji. Way too much curve to the shearline. Looks like an Island Trader, Hung Wha or a spinoff of one of those. Marine Traders International.
