Re: What Sailboat Do You Have ?

There are TONS of unadvertised boats for sale at marinas and achorages.

Call EVERY marina in your area asking if they have boat auctions.
Call EVERY towing / salvage company asking if they have any boat available.

Leave Wanted ads on the bulletin boards at sailing clubs.

Use SearchTempest to search Craigslist. Set it to search "any" of the words "Sail, sails, sailboat" for the most results.

I own... a Fatty Knees 7 sailing dinghy, a 1981 G-Cat 5.7M (18'8") beach catamaran, a 1982 Island Packet 26MkI, and a 1974 Cal Cruising 35.

The Cal is my live-aboard, future cruiser. The Island Packet is my daysailer / weekender / party boat. The G-Cat is pure and simple fun, plus I can sail it on no wind days. The Fatty Knees is my dinghy and is for sail since I've moved up to a 10' Nutshell Pram that doesn't sail (yet).

Re: What Sailboat Do You Have ?

1985 Passport 37 sloop w/ full battened mainsail and a 100% working jib (130% genoa stored under the pullman berth). Pullman berth, forward head, great boat, love it.

There's an older Cape Dory Ketch for sale in our marina ... here's the Yachtworld link...

Not sure what you're looking for but this boat looks like a seaworthy possibility. No connection to the boat other than we walk by it every night on our way to the shower.

Whatever you decide - DO IT! And enjoy!
