what kind of boat?

Hei i refering to sail ready and i want to know what kind of sailboats have these criteria: fundamentals:
o Stability Curve. Offshore boats should be up above the 120 -130's. Another stability measure is the CCA Capsize Screening Formula (beam v displacement), look for values under 2. Note these two measures are not mutually exclusive, look at both.

Im thinking about the benetau avesion 34, Google Bilder-resultat for http://www.western-horizon.co.uk/boat_images/medium/1048.jpg

Would it hold up?

See the other discussions on numbers – although informative, and good conversation starters, numbers are just numbers… This one would pass the “screen” test – barely, but with all that glass area, taller cabin and windage, inside/pilothouse steering and 200+ gallons of fuel capacity, I doubt she was designed for the Cape Horn route…

The other calculation is beyond my spreadsheet, and generally needs more designer supplied data (metacenters, etc…). Can’t find the link, but several have posted a sailing database, that does comparative calculations… perhaps they’ll chime in with the link, in-between fireworks…
