What is it?

I found this behind a fence driving by a storage lot. The building is empty lots of junk cars around. Looks to be about 12 ft at the beam and 35 plus feet long. This is the best pic I could get of it. The name is rainbow and it says scottsdale az on it.

It uploaded sideways. Bist guess what it is

Did I win? I'll take the furry dice for the gooseneck and the Pikachu burgee!

Someone spent a lot of money to take a big boat to the desert. Not too many places to sail that boat in Scottsdale. Maybe they are getting ready for the sea level rise.

Re: What is it

Pretty sure the BYB in the HIN makes it a Vagabond. Can't tell from the photo if it's a 42 or 47, though.

Transom is different I think... Never been on one but I always wondered about falling on those big sloping living room windows they have...

Re: What is it

byb-47323c4a4

It's not a valid HIN, but if the first three letters are a registered Manufacturer ID Code, then
BYB = Baytoon Boat Inc, 171 Songer Ln, Pearcy AR

but they seem to be more an inland waterway fishing boat manufacturer

Re: What is it

No, it's Bluewater Yacht Builders. They're no longer in existence, and the three-letter identifier has been reissued. Almost certain that the boat is a Stadel-designed Vagabond 42.
