What are these on my bow?

Ok forgive the dumb question, doing an inventory of my recently acquired Dufour and came across these on the sides of the bow. I am thinking they are spinnaker poles, but not sure. One is longer than the other by quite a bit. Thanks!

The short one might be a reaching strut.

Here's a PDF >> http://www.forespar.com/pdf/sailingCatalog.pdf

Goto page 5, it'll show you the function of a reaching strut.
