Our club just launched our WWP 19 after some extensive hull
repair due to a parted mooring
line. This is the second time I've done the glass work on "Whippy" after a mooring
incident and she is easy to work on once lifted off the trailer and balanced on 55 gal. drums or with wood blocking.
She is a great boat for trailer sailing. Can be towed by nearly anything with a weight of about 1900 lbs, has a 300 lb. daggerboard and with the kick up rudder
can be beached easily.
Her sail inventory is main, jib
, lapper, genoa
. She has all the gear
aboard that a much larger boat would have and is just as much fun to sail in a smaller package.
She is highly recommended to those who might want to have a good trailerable that will prepare you for your "next" boat.
