Wauquiez Hood 38 or Aloha/Perry 41?

Looking for a liveaboard and bluewater cruiser. Looking for opinions from the forum on pros and cons on each of the two boats.

I have a Hood 38 so I am biased, and I don't know a Perry 41.

Hood 38:
Very high build quality. Solid boat - good for off shore. Shallow draft is great when CB up.

Even one in good condition - its a older boat now, so will need lots of regular maintenance. Our one has a Perkins 4.108 - which I find a little under powered - we can probably get 6 knots max. a 60Hp motor be better.

I also find the saloon table is just slightly too big and gets in the way, hard to get around.
