Refit is not done, but I recently came into some money and bought a GS 52 in Spain ( a great deal) and sailed it to the US, where it now competes with the older 37 footer for my time and attention. Located Annapolis and priced to go - well under your budget - since my wife constantly reminds me about my "fleet".

Hi Kris,
you know there is one big problem with boats from outside EU, you need the CE confirmation if you want to stay in EU. Hungary is EU member.
You can buy a boat in US or whereever you want, but without CE are only few countries in Europe you may stay.

Me too, but before I go, wanna check up and complete it in Europe.
lots of things from home I prefer or change against products from US or so. And one day may be get back home or for a stay in an EU-Country. Customs get on board and U can leave Europe.
btw.: Martinique f.e. is an beautyful island, in EU..

Krisztian, in my opinion there are other boats in that price range. For example Whitby, Peterson, Gulfstar, or Irwin.
But why only CC? There are also other Boats with a nice Layout, Beneteau Idylle 11,50, oder 13,50 for example...

Yes but there is a difference between EU and EU customs territory. It's not so easy and some regions are outside of Schengen or the EU VAT area. Martinique is outside from Schengen.
