As noted several times, most will choose the one we own:

Fast, safe, good looking, VERY comfortable, and easy to doublehand:

Maybe you need to look at the elapsed times for the GB 62 in the 2008 Chicago Mac? LOL

Always liked the Macintosh, lovely boat.

Is that a bear on the foredeck?

I think it's a crewman who disobeyed Capt. Merlin

When a wizard says "bring me a beer", you should bring beer promptly.

Thanks,

That's actually one of our 2 Samoyeds. The Admiral rescued them 8 years ago. We were supposed to have them for the weekend. That worked out rather poorly...

Boat came with the name - and we just couldn't change it. Too many people knew the boat...

For so many reasons, a Peterson 44 or 46 is by far the best. In a marina they are like a houseboat, out at sea they are like wildcats.

Or you could look at the elapsed times for the Brisbane to Gladstone 09 where the LAST multi home - a very comfortable and safe Seawind 1160 arrived at the line almost spot on with two local well sailed and highly regarded MUMM 36s. And in a broad reach race - the seawind wasn't even carrying a spinnaker - (the seawind got 3rd on Handicap) and was easily the most comfortable ride in the fleet.

Bloody excellent comparison I thought.

I'll vote for Cambria 44/46. We've just has ours for a summer, but I did a lot of research before taking the plunge. She's delightful.

I kind of like the hard chined Colvin boats, I prefer gaff rig, and engines are too costly, but I would definitely buy into the harem notion .....
