Please let me know where I can find more information about the Vancouver 25 pocket cruiser. There is one listed on Yacht World. I'd like to find out more. Thanks. You can contact me at a.dennis@telus.net

vancouver 25

I can tell you its a very tender boat and quite wet. The interior is not that nice either. I came very close to buying one of these but in the end there was too much not to like even for a never used still in shrinkwrap boat for 13K. Ali

Aloha Pirate,
This is not meant as criticism but just a question. You sailed the Vancouver in shrink wrap?
Kind regards,
JohnL

No, my friend bought it never used but serveral years old still in the factory shrink wrap. He had it comissioned then offered it to me for a bit more than he had paid for it. I have quite a bit of experience on this particular boat and she would not be my choice. I'm not afraid of a tender boat or a wet boat. I just think there are better bargians for the money on the market. Ali

vancover 25 sailboat

we have owned a vancouver 25 sailboat for 12 years.

we sailed it extensively in the usa along the carolina coasts. the last 2 and a half years we have been cruising the caribbean aboard the boat. it has proved to be a very capable small cruising boat for us, a small family of three.

the boat is extremely comfortable considering its size, moves reasonably well in light air, and reefed down in strong winds is a dream on all points of sail.
