unicorn hunting

ok.... here is my current mindset...

im a commercial fisherman, going to alaska this summer, should have a good chunk of cash when I get back....

time to boat shop

option A) liveaboard, already have that figured out, so, dont worry bout that one

option B) the unicorn.

a boat that will live on a trailer when not kept in a temporary slip per use, capable of cruising to alaska.

I live on whidbey island in Washington state, so, cruising is only limited to not owning a boat.

ideally, a fixed keel boat like a pearson aeiel or a more contemporary boat likee cal 29 on a trailer would suffice....

however.....

I am after a capable boat, alaska worthy...

easilly put on a trailer, I live less than 10 miles from a launch... so it doesnt have to go far...

diesel powered

commonly found under 6000$, assumed work rewuired.

its the ultimate unicorn....

id love to hear ideas and suggestions

Re: unicorn hunting

Well either of those go on a trailer , your just not realistic about a trailer able cruising boat for Alaska that's priced under 6k[emoji41]
