I saw that one also. It surprised me. It would be interesting to see how that one turns out.

This one isn't a bad deal either. Albeit looks in worse shape than the Bristol but with a couple of used sails from Minney's or Bacon and some general cleaning up this Endeavour would be a great cruiser in that range. I'm not the owner I've just seen the ad.

Re: too good to be true?

Sometimes you get lucky on eBay and what is presented is the actual thing you've bid on and bought. Sometimes there isn't as much work involved in a project boat but sometimes there is a lot more. I'd really like to see what I'm bidding on before springing for a bit of money. It's like the stock market or gambling. Don't invest in any more than you are willing to lose.
Both those boats look like a good deal but it'd be really nice to see them before bidding.

Re: too good to be true?

That Edeavour is only about 20 minutes from me. It. Sold before but got relisted. It's worth 2500 in scrap so it should be a pretty safe buy. I was watching it but to big of a boat for me to move. Engine is supposed to run on that one I believe.

Re: Too Good to be True?

Bristol went for $4050. If it's in as good shape as the seller says, it was a great deal, despite the A-4. It will cost more than that to get a new diesel.
