Thoughts on Hunters for Sailing Down Island

We're looking for a boat to liveaboard/cruise the Caribbean for 2-3 years. Any feedback on the suitability of the Hunter Passage (42 or 45) for this type of endeavor?

Lots of other choose the same boat as it is almost designed for your purpose. You will see lots of them throughout the islands. Either will serve you well.
