Thoughts on Calkins Motorsailors...
Hi all,
I was curious if anyone has any real world experience with these yachts? What are their pros and cons. Thanks for your time and help.

Wendell H. Calkins isn’t a household name in yacht design.

Since only a handful (5?) of these wooden boats were built (early 60's), you may have difficulty finding anyone with “real world” experience.

Apparently, well-known yacht designer Doug Peterson is/was a partner in “Sabrina”.
