Ted Brewer 47 ft aluminum " Grey Goose "

I am hoping to contact the owner of this custom 47 pilothouse cutter . It
was built in late 90`s & may have been sold in Florida . Have been in touch
with Ted Brewer , exploring this design to build one . Being able to speak
with a current owner and find out characteristics of a particular design
would be very helpful . So if anyone has info re " Grey Goose " I would
appreciate hearing from you .

Of course she could be where ever the seas flow by now . Do you happen
to remember how long ago that was ?

That's quite a nice design; I really like pilothouses. Have you also looked at Dudley Dix?

Thanks , yes I know D. Dix designs , have met him a couple of times and he
certainly has some great boats to his credit . I really feel Ted Brewer nailed
it for a good all around cruiser with this Grey Goose . 47ft , any bigger would be too big , won`t be without a pilothouse after having owned one , speed
should be good with that long W/L , cutter rig and aluminum is my favorite
boat building material . I have had glass , steel and aluminum boats . Alloy
wins .

Gord , thanks . Brewers website is where I first saw the design and have
emailed him about it . Next step is buy the study plans . Graham Radford ,
an Australian naval architect has a very similar design . Interestingly one
of those has been built also and sailed the world . I was able to contact the owners and they love their boat which says a lot . Besides their designs
what I really like about both Brewer and Radford is the depth to which they
analyze their designs , capsize rating , etc . They can tell you what one of their designs will do before its built . You would think this would be standard industry practice but its not . Of course there`s nothing like speaking to
someone who is sailing a particular boat hence my quest and why I started
this thread . Somebody knows where she is .
