Teak handrails gone...stainless? Where? Help!

Hey guys/gals,

I'm calling on knowledge from anyone who owns a Hunter. J/K, that was a Don Lucas joke (all in good nature).

I have removed my teak handrails on the cabin top and will be replacing with something. I would like to replace with Stainless, but have not really found what I want. Anyone have any ideas? Would be cool to get a standard teak shaped handrail made out of stainless, but cannot find and probably would be priced really really high if I found it. Anyway, Here is what I have found so far, but not quite what I was looking for.

Sea-Dog, Hand Rail Fittings, Die Cast Zinc, Chrome Plated

I would suggest that you assemble your own using stainless tube and fittings such as these:

You can find these at Go2marine.com as well as other marine supply stores I expect.

You cut the tube to the lengths you need and use whatever fittings are required to get the look and support you want.

Benefits:

You can size the rail to use your existing mounting holes.

If your existing handrail was longer and had support dogs, you can add them where needed.

Waaay better than chrome plated zinc.

The one issue you'll face is if your rail needs to curve over a long run, or has a compound curve. Long/compound bends in stainless tubing are exceptionally difficult to create without the right fabrication equipment.
