Tayana 37 Prop

Would anyone have any experience/recommendations on a folding prop for T37? Seems hull/rudder aperture for prop not deep enough aft to allow blades to fold without undertaking major surgery on rudder?
Thx Bob

Re: Tayana 37 Prop

Not specific to Tayana, but hard to be a Max Prop for proven durability and thrust. Many folding props are not so good for both.

Cheechako, thx for quick response and I agree MaxProp would be ideal, but feathering (which is great) vs folding and too many $$$$ for me! Thx

"Seems hull/rudder aperture for prop not deep enough aft to allow blades to fold ..." I thought you said the aperture was not big enough for folding? the Max and some others are feathering...? I belive most folding will take more room (fore/aft) than feathering....
