Tanzer wood work finish?

I was just building some new interior woodwork in my 74 Tanzer 28. I want to match the same finish as the original (as best I can). I am always amazed at the wealth of knowledge here. To save me a whole lot of testing of various stains, does anyone know what they were originally finished with? It has dark red hue. Like an aged black cherry finish.

I picked up a Tanzer 31 last year and re-finished all the woodwork in it. It was simply oiled teak. Very easy to refinish.
