just so we're clear. I'm NOT looking at buying one.

friend got a delivery gig sailing one over from the med and asked if I wanted to go along. I agreed to go but it occurred to me that I know pretty much nothing about them aside from them being a center cockpit farr design and that they were the biggest of the beneteau first series for a few years. anybody have any experience with them? they're certainly nice looking boats and with as much freeboard as they have I imagine they're a pretty dry boat at sea.

They are not a First series. They are cruising yachts and seem well enough stuck together. Interior properly fitted for cruising with handholds etc.

supposedly more solid than other Bene's. Sail well; Farr design.

You'll be safe. Report back when you return. I looked at a few before buying my current.
