We had a C22 from 1983 to 1989, a C25 from 87 to 98, and our C34 from 98 to now. That two year overlap was a nightmare and a PITA. We sold our C25 around the time we got the 34 because it was in perfect shape, perfect, and any buyers could see the attention that was paid to its upkeep and maintenance. If your smaller boat has any blemishes...don't think it will sell quickly in this market.

It's not untypical to buy a boat. Then find one that's better to you, so buy another one to own instead.


It happens more often than you think. 40 feet and up is better than 30 feet plus. But, 71 feet is the best.

There's not a boat you can't single hand. Sure that she has an anker and an auto pilot.

From what I've read, larger boats take more muscle to handle crisis, both hardware and mtc increase exponentially.

30' is just a fine vessel.
