I have to break in...

I currently own a 1980 Hunter 37C, and it pains me to hear so many folks reflexively bash all Hunters. This is a great, tough boat, sails very well and is faster than you think. Mine happens to be in very good condition, and IMHO, even if you purchased one in less than perfect condition, they are simple boats and upgrades should not break the bank. for someone looking for a good value, they really hit the mark, because they are solid, yet the Hunter reputation holds the price down. Now, I must confess, I can't stand the sight or smell of the newer Hunters!!

I think most people would agree that H37Cs are good looking boats:
