Weekender cruiser

I don't know if you have found a boat yet but you might consider looking at the Grampian 26. I bought one last year and find it to be a nice forgiving boat. They are not the fanciest thing on the water but for under 10 grand i can't complain. I find it easy to single hand with the extra cabin top winches but a roller furler which i don't have yet would make it that much easier. The cockpit has loads of room and the interior is adequate with an enclosed head that can be a challenge to enter because of the placement of the door. Depending on the age of the boat and how well it was cared for they will probably have a few issues but because of the price and simplicty of construction diy repairs are not a problem if you are half way handy. You may find the prices for these boats slightly higher on the left coast than they are out here in Ontario. There are several good websites dedicated to these boats so there is lots of info available. Good hunting snd good sailing
