For "far-out" sail systems check out the Maltese Falcon. This is also an animation but the Maltese Falcon is really out there now sailing and I had a chance to see her in action.

She’s for sale for like 80 or 85million USD I don’t remember....way less than half of what she cost if I recall correctly.

Cool rig but to my eye it didn’t go at all with the hull shape or superstructure.....but cool none the less

OK, but why put sails on motor yachts. Are they not more efficient without masts?
