Southerly: Discontinued Models

Southerly appears to have stopped offering at least three models: the 46 RS, the 110 and the 35 RS. Does anyone know why?

Hello Curmudgeon,

They have indeed withdrawn them from their website (we were recently told by Southerly sales staff that this was only a temporary matter whilst they concentrated on their newer and larger models; we shall see!).

However, we have also been assured by Northshore that they are continuing to make all of these models. particluarly in light of the 110 being their most sold design.

We have had our brand new 110 for 18 months and now coming to the end of our pre-determined voyage-time (sadly only a two year sabbatical allowed); she is now up for sale if you are interested?

Yes, they sent me an email with the same information. I like the 110 (especially when rigged like the 35RS) and the 42RS but can't afford one now. Plus, we really enjoy our Bristol 38.8. It's obviously an older design, but it sails well and has alot more interior space than the 110.
