Size of Engine Intake Water Hose ?

Please tell me the size of raw water hose for a Yanmar 4JH2-TE engine. I am not near my boat and I need to order some of this hose online to replace.

Thanks James

It will be at least the same diameter hose that leads in to the water pump">raw water pump. That diameter can be found in the manufacturers website in the installation manual PDF or in the engine schematics PDF.

Edit, I found the PDF which was not of any help. I think if you call the local Yanmar dealer he could tell you.

Your not blind. I am not seeing a hose diameter either. That's the same PDF I found earlier. Have you called the dealer's parts department? ..or the parts department of any good marine engine shop? A good boatyard may know as well.

Thanks

I know for sure it is 1 or 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inside diameter. Unfortunate the boat is 1 1/2 hours away. Holiday here in Panama so I wait til tomorrow. I had someone go in my boat and could not read the outside of the hose and could not accurately measure outside diameter for guess on inside D.

hmmmmmmmm wait til tomorrow.....tomorrow.

Aloha James,
That's just a guess I really have no idea.
Unbelievable that they don't have the size on the engine specs.
regards,

There just has to be another person on this forum right now that is sitting next to their Yanmar and could tell you. Could you try another thread with the engine make and model and the same question?
regards
