Episode 1 - Part 6 of my sailing documentary.

I started in March 2012 and arrived back in the Netherlands in October 2014. So just a couple of months back in usual life :-).

So, did you sail it back home as well then?

And how much did it take to get used to napping at night rather than sleeping for hours?

Yes i did the whole journey around the atlantic.

Sleeping is - of course - always a problem if you are sailing alone. To be honest i never got used to sleep in 20 minute intervalls like i have been told beforde so many times. I think its impossible to stay in good shape if you try to do that for weeks. In fact i slept usually for 1 or 2 hours if possible in a row. so you have to trust in your AIS system (and god) a bit :-)

I'm still watching this documentary, but I would like to say that it's amazing and fun. Thank you for sharing this , I really love videos like these to see how other mates go through there experiences.

Episode 2 - Part 3 of my sailing documentary.

After crossing the Bay of Biscay i am facing trouble in La Coruna. Finally i can fix it and head towards the legendary Cabo Finisterre. Lots of wind and huge waves are forecasted.
