WOW: This is an old thread. I barely remember it.

Let me correct my previous post from 5 Years ago.

Since then I purchased an Aquarius 23'

It has modified my views about keels.

Unless you have a portable crane, some form of retractable keel is needed for a tralerable boat.

That leaves swing keels, Big heavy, and complicated, or centerboards with either form stability, or weights molded into the hull.

The Aquarius uses a combination of the two to good effect.
