Well, that 'splains it! In the slip, I normally have the extra halyards wrapped around the mast and shrouds, so as to not listen to the slap. I rigged a shade over the forward part of the boat, and held it aloft with those same halyards... Of course there is no wind at the moment to test the theory>>>> will advise!

Most my boats have done this from time to time. I guess when all harmonics get right it occurs....
