Sexy boat!

I'm looking for a new boat in the 45 to 50 foot range.
I sail a privateer 35 now. and I really like how unique and classy she looks.

The two boats i've considered most, is the Formosa 51, and Vagabond 47. 51 feet is a lot of boat, more than we need. The vagabond seems to fit our needs... but there are a lot of boats out there, so I thought to tap the knowledge base of this forum.

Looking for:
Ketch rig,
Aft cabin, with headroom, and a real bed (oh what luxury!)
Shower, or space to add one.
Seaworthiness. (ocean crossing)

in the style of
Privateer 35
vagabong 47
Formosa 51

The trouble with finding uncommon boats is that they are uncommon!
any ideas?

well...
the wife and i love our formosa 41 very much! LOA is actually closer to 47 or 48 feet (much like the 51 is actually closer to 60 feet)... still quite a lot of boat.

i suppose you could consider this a slightly smaller version of the 51 - with similar amenities:

the stateroom isn't aft like in the 51, but neither is it a v-berth (thus allowing for a real bed).

there is also a shower.

plus - i think the 41's are more common, so you might be able to find one easier. we looked at several before we bought ours.

if it helps any, we were looking for a very similar list of "necessities" when looking to purchase a boat.

good luck!
