Seriously Looking at Purchasing a 1989 Hylas 44

I am seriously looking at purchasing a 1989 Hylas 44. However, the mainsail halyard and reef lines are at the mast. I would prefer to bring them back to the cockpit to line stoppers and an electric winch. I would like to chat with any Hylas 44 owners out there who have made this change or seen a Hylas rigged this way?

Thanks,
Paul

If no one answers here, try the HYOA listserv:

Hylas 45.5's (sugar scoop extended version of the 44) have lines running into the cockpit. Keep in mind the 44 is a real wet boat.
