Search Finally Over - Paperwork Finished

Hi All,

Well, after a long and winding road, I am now the new owner of this trusty old girl. She has done the miles, 3 different families and 2 times 'round so far, hopefully not the last with myself as the 4th owner. Below is a pic of her a few years ago in all her glory

Looks a little faded now, but I will bring her back to her former glory, and hopefully then some

Wish me luck, 'cause somehow I will have to sail her myself for the moment until I find my SO.

Cheers,

Bloke

The Old Girls Specs

Ok Boys & Girls, here are her specs:

Built: 1985
LOA: 49'
LWL: 40'
Beam: 14'
Draft: 6'
Displ: 22mt
Eng: Lehman 135hp
Fuel: 1000lt
Water: 1000ltr
Genset: 7.7kVA
PUR Watermaker etc etc

She has a modified long keel with a skeg hung rudder. Not sure what else should write, but just ask if you want to know something more. Try to get a few other pics from the cabin, galley etc.

The teak decks need replacing, and will need to investigate a few soft areas in the deck. The decks are foam cored, so maybe i can take off the teak and dry the areas out during the summer here.

I think she is suited for tackling Bass Strait on regular occasions, and will certainly take her the long way round to Hobart, dropping in on Port Davey on the way. But first, will get used to her in Port Phillip Bay.

Cheers,

Bloke
