Save the Toy ship appeal to Atlantic Sailors. “TOY PAM PAM”

An appeal to all the sailors out there."TOY PAM PAM"

There’s a little Toy Sailboat floating around that needs recharging. It has a USB port and batteries at 25 %, it pings its location twice a day and its off Guyana and pointing to the Caribbean.
If you do happen to sight it, please rescue it by giving it a Charge on the USB port.
“Ollie Ferguson, eight, and Harry, five, from Turriff, first launched their Playmobil pirate ship called Adventure from Peterhead in May last year.
It initially reached Scandinavia, and is now off Guyana.
Their father said the tracker battery power was currently at about 25% and it needed to be recharged.”
Lets keep the kids smiling.

Just a nit-pick

I think you meant "Pan-Pan"

Hehe I was thinking someone would spot the difference.
Well I thought about Pan-Pan, but decided againt it due to the nature of the "urgency" So I thought I would go with PAM-PAM as to not allow any confusion with a real emergency. Which I hate to see happen like in the Sollent Mayday's because the sailboat engine died. Luckily the Coast guard has a very British sense of humour.
I regard those things very seriously, was really not sure if I should even write something that looks like the real thing.

+1 you spotted it

My first thought was, how could you get THAT wrong? If you say it correctly, it sounds like "pon pon." Hard to confuse with "Pam."

Now that I understand, how about "pom pom?"

Anyway, good luck with your quest. Not sure how easy this would be to spot at sea, maybe more info about the "ping" would give folks a sporting chance.

I may have been thinking of Pamella Anderson from Baywatch, My mom's comment back then was that she should be called Pam Pam's, not that I would ever admit to it of course.

"Pom pom" would also have been good yeah I would NEVER have any improper thoughts with that.

(just got a thwapping to the back of my head from the wife for that)

The Kids Facebook page has the pictures with the location pings marked, it's actually a good read.

I've mailed a couple of people in the caribean as well to keep a look out. It seems a few Oil ships have lookouts out for the little boat already. It may well still be found.
