Craigslist or little 3x5 ads pinned up in local chandleries. Look for a 2-5 hp two stroke unless you have some specific need.

Where do you plan to use it?

If you are going cruising be sure and consider which brands you can get parts for in your intended venue(s).

For example, Tohatsu makes a good little motor, but parts are generally unavaible in Central America. Yamaha dominates by far here (esp the "Enduro" build -- Central American specific).

I just snagged a mid 90's 2.5 HP Nissan (Tohatsu rebranded), in good condition for $75 US from craigslist.
