Sabre 38 Mk1 pros and cons

I'm considering making an offer on a 1982 Sabre 38 Mk1 that has had many upgrades and refits. I'm a little concerned that from the hull shape it will pound in a seaway. Anyone with experience with this boat. The online reviews seem to be pretty good.
