Rawson 32 Cruiser
Recently ran across an interesting looking boat advertised as a Rawson 32. Link below:
1976 Rawson Full keel cruiser Boat For Sale Looks almost like a slimmer version of a Westsail 32. I can find no information about such a vessel online, and only little information about a Rawson 30, which doesn't resemble this vessel at all. Anyone have any background on this vessel, construction, quality, intended purpose? Seems like a traditional design double-ender, and the owner clearly invested in making it an offshore cruiser (radar, vane autohelm, etc). I'm interested in just such a 30-32 foot offshore cruiser, and would like to know more before proceeding. Thanks. |

Hello Antongm,
I looked over the Yacht World ad for the Rawson 32, and it sure is interesting, as well as appearing to be in good shape. The ad also indicated that it had been sold. To you? If so, I'd be interested in your impressions of this truly classic design boat. I have had a passing interest in a Rawson 30, but that is a different breed, being a little pilothouse sloop, nothing like the 32 you looked at. Best Harry |

Rawson 32
Harry,
Unfortunately, it was not to me. I've not found anything else about the boat. A shame really...looking at the ad again, it's a sharp looking boat. ~A. |
