Propane Tank Conversion

Hi All,

I currently have a the small green propane tank connected to my bbq. (Force 10) I would like to convert to a 20lb tank. Is it as simple as getting the adapter cable or do I need to change regulators as well? Anything else needing to be known?
Cheers,
Hank

I just got a adapter from Home depot. It is about 4 feet long with one end goes to a standard propane tank and the other screws in where the botle goes to the regulator. It works just fine with the current regulator.

No need to change reulator. I have high pressure hose on a tee vavle at my main tank that I run to the grill when I want to use it.

I have 2, 5# propane tanks which I keep in the anchor locker (yes, they rust, so replace frequently) and a 6' hose. Can either use disposables or drag out one of the tanks and hook it up. No issues.
