You can purchase the hose to any length with correct fittings from any propane/natural gas equipment wholesaler.

You might not feel the vibrations but the rig on your sailboat is constantly humming and that vibration is passing through the entire structure.

This is the same reason that solid copper AC conductors are not acceptable in a boat. I have seen hundreds of failures of solid core copper AC conductors, copper fuel lines, propane lines and copper fittings on engines.

Soft copper has been used for years and I've never had a problem with it myself. It should be protected wherever it passes through a bulkhead etc. What to use seems to be a moving target. In the late 90's the local boat supply/installation shop for heaters , stoves, refridg etc etc was touting a blue covered braided hose for propane. (late 90's) which I installed on my boat at that time. Then 5 years ago I went there to buy some and they said they couldnt sell it anymore. Go figure...

I have used copper propane lines in the distant past but now use rubber propane rated hose. It is more flexible and easier to run. In addition if the stove is gimbaled it eliminates one extra connection inside the boat - where the copper changes to rubber by the stove. As posted any propane supplier should be able to make a hose of the length required.

I am going to go with hose.
