Propane and the Islands...

Thanks everyone for all of your help. One last question. In the Bahamas and Caribbean what am I likely to see for propane supplies?

Will they fill my empty tank?

Or is there a size tank that I am likely to see available for exchange?

Thanks again,
the beaker

Re: Propane and the Islands...

Never filled in the Bahamas but never a problem in the Caribbean in 6 years of getting our US tanks filled. No problem in the Pacific until we got to New Zealand.

We carried two 20lb US tanks but never saw exchange and occasionally had to wait 2-3 days for them to fill the tank.

Same in the Bahamas but not every island. The Explorer Charts have data about that sort of stuff. Usually same day or one day refill.
