It was a series of misfortunate events
(nothing wrong with the boat). I didnt bring cash, which was my first mistake, and after taking her out for a half hour or so i was ready to get her. The seller and i went to the bank nearby to get cash and finalize the sale
but i ran into complications with fraud protection (my second mistake was using the atm first). The bank was about to close at that point, nobody was picking up at the fraud dept, and nothing was looking good on my end so i just said that i would have to back off on the sale
. I had kept him waiting long enough and had to run to night shift at work across town. He sold it to the next person...
I see it as an oppurtunity to save more and look for a little bigger boat
. I don't mind getting a slip and dont have a vhl capable of pulling a trailer at the moment.
