My recently purchased sailboat has an outboard rudder
The prior owner always lashed the tiller to the stern pulpit.
He kept the boat at marinas
but I am on the move and anchoring
I have been following his procedure but have been wondering whether I should be doing so while anchoring
due to the strong currents pushing against my sideways rudder
It is nice having the tiller out of the way though.
Also, the boat swings alot while at anchor
, I have been assuming the swinging was a characteristic of the Paceship 26.
