Smile Our New Boat

We have come into possession of a 1997 Catalina Morgan 45 in Australia. Just sailed it from Melbourne to Hobart in some bouncy seas and hard winds. She went very well. Love it. Beautiful fitout. I think she is the only CM 45 in Australia, but cannot be sure of that. There are several of the Morgan 43 design, upon which the CM 45 was apparently based. Her name is Maristo. We look forward to some years of happy sailing in her. The Americans can build a good solid boat.

Congrats!

She's a good solid boat that will take good care of you if you listen to her needs!

Re: Our New Boat

g'day Cherp, and congratulations on the new love. Kinda odd... us Yanks coming to Oz and selling our Yank built boat and buying an Aussie designed and built boat, you goin' the other way!

Anyhow, we look forward to seeing her when we get to Tassie, hopefully before Xmas, certainly before the WBF in February.

Jim
