Especially in the
current climate, I would make damn sure that this is true. I was told before that stopping anywhere that is not an official Port of Entry is a strict no-no. By the way, Jonesport is listed as an official port of entry, so you might be tempted to enter there. However, it only clears
commercial vessels, not pleasure boats.
