Interesting reading on removing a 447
fuel tank. On the
boat you are seeing, replaced in 2010.

The
engine is 2005 vintage with close to 4000 hours. Still worth seeing. The decks are
fiberglass, like ours, so a plus there.
Twice around the world-how is the rudder-skeg assy and
steering cables holding up ?
Pedestal ? Goose neck on main boom ?
Sails are tired by now for sure (2001). V-drive maintained well ? Max Prop been rebuilt lately (since 2010) ? When was the last
round the world cruise ?
Blisters and groundings hidden by a fresh
paint job ?
Basically every system needs a look over, but then a real
survey of a
boat like this takes about 8 hours and you should be there too.
Engine and
rigging surveys are separate.
